President, cabinet members pay tribute to late Imam Khomeini
Tehran, Feb 5, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his cabinet members paid tribute Saturday morning to Father of the Islamic Revolution the late Imam Khomeini renewing their allegiance with his aspirations during an official ceremony.
The ceremony was held at Imam Khomeini's mausoleum in southern Tehran on the fifth day of the Ten-Day Dawn (Daheye Fajr) annual celebrations which mark the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution in 1979.
Iranians celebrate the occasion in 10 days each year nationwide as it took 10 days from the return to the country of Imam Khomeini in February 1, 1979 to the complete victory of the revolution on February 11.
