Othman: Arab Summit will not be held on time

Baghdad (NINA) – Kurdish Alliance’s official, Mahmoud Othman, expects that the Arab Summit will not be held on time because, “Some Arab entities are being threatened.”
Othman told NINA on Friday, Feb. 4, “I do not think that the Arab Summit will be held in Baghdad on time; it is expected to be postponed to a later date.”
He added, “Some countries such as Lebanon, Egypt, Tunis, Sudan, Yemen, Algeria and Jordan all are threatened of their leaders might be removed; such leaders want to defend their posts, therefore they will not attend the Summit.”
On Thursday, Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said that the Summit will be held on time because what is going on does not effect the Summit.
