Russian, Polish security agencies sign cooperation plan

WARSAW, February 1 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian Security Council and the
Polish National Security Bureau signed on Tuesday a plan of cooperation between the two agencies for 2011-2012.
The document was signed by the secretary of the Russian Security
Council, Nikolai Patrushev, and the head of the Polish National Security Bureau, Stanislaw Koziej. The meeting was held behind closed doors.
According to the information service of the Polish security agency,
details of the talks will be published on Wednesday.
Patrushev, who arrived here to participate in the conference marking the 20th anniversary of the Polish National Security Bureau, also met with the Polish defence and foreign ministers, Bogdan Klich and Radoslaw Sikorski.
According to spokesman for the Polish Defence Ministry Janusz Sejmej, talks with Klich focused on issues of European security, as well as Russia-NATO and Russia-EU relations, which received good marks. The sides discussed the possibility of cooperation of border units and the navies on the Baltic Sea in case of crisis situations, the spokesman said.
The Foreign Ministry has presented no information on talks between
Sikorski and Patrushev as of yet.
