Khakassia offers ecotourism on unique mountain lakes.
KRASNOYARSK, February 2 (Itar-Tass) - Russia's Khakassia offers
ecotourism on mountain lakes with crystal clear water, the director
general of the Country Format company, Andrei Osipov, told Tass on Tuesday.
The republic prepares a new investment project for the Ivanovskiye
Ozera natural complex. "The main advantages of the complex are climatic
and meteorological conditions that give an opportunity for a comfortable
holiday in the open air both in summer and in winter," Osipov said.
He stressed that it presents ideal conditions for skiing and
snowboarding. The high season on the lakes is from June to August, when up
to 5,000 tourists visit them. Yearly, 15,000 tourists visit the site. The
natural complex offers tourists walks and fishing, skies and snowboards.
Tourists from all Russia arrive there.
The territory of the Ivanovskiye Ozera park is situated in the
highland part of Khakassia, and covers the area of about 60,000 hectares.
It is renowned for lakes with crystal clear water with waterfalls. It also
boasts unique slopes, which make it possible to engage in downhill skiing
and snowboarding practically all year round.
