Iranian President inaugurates construction of major space research center
Tehran, Jan 31, IRNA -- President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Sunday inaugurated construction of major space laboratory and research center.
Construction of the space lab began on the eve of Ten-Day Dawn festivity marking anniversary of triumph of the Islamic Revolution.
The complex was established by the experts at the defense ministry with the aim of meeting the demands of scientists, training pilots as well as educating expert workforce to conduct sophisticated projects both in the region and the entire globe, IRNA reported.
