Zionist regime agents plotting to rob Egypt's historical items

Cairo, Jan 30, IRNA – An informed source in Egypt said the Zionist regime agents are plotting to steal Egypt’s historical items and documents.
Referring to the ongoing public protests in Egypt, he told IRNA that the Zionist regime is manipulating the steadily falling authority of the government to steal the country’s ancient and historical documents and items.
The source recalled that during the US invasion of Iraq a similar situation occurred in that country where the occupying forces together with the Zionist agents looted the nation’s historical materials.
However, he noted, the Egyptian army has already restricted access to the ancient pyramids to prevent robberies from those places and even in cases has surrounded the places.
Pointing to the very critical conditions in Egypt following the killing of over 50 citizens, the source said President Hosni Mubarak has appointed the country’s intelligence chief – General Omar Suleiman – as his deputy to gain some control over the crisis.
The source added that there were rumors running that President Mubarak had fled the country but the news have not been confirmed by any official sources yet.
