Salehi: Iran is closely following Middle East developments

Tehran, Jan 30, IRNA — Iran's Caretaker Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said Saturday Tehran is closely watching and following developments in the Middle East and North Africa.
According to Foreign Ministry Media Department, Salehi said, 'What the vigilant regional nations, inspired by the religious teachings and Islamic awareness, are today seeking is freedom from dominance of the hegemonic powers and gaining real independence of their countries; countries which have been kept far from their real identities for a long time in spite of having ancient civilizations and history-making peoples by alien powers that are supporters of the Zionist regime.'
Salehi added, 'Nowadays, people of Egypt, learning from the wonderful experiences of modern history of the Middle East, are getting ready to determine their great destiny and achieve revival of their influential position.'

Iran's caretaker foreign minister emphasized,' With my knowledge of the faithful, vigilant, and Muslim people of Egypt, the realization of their lofty objectives and their national-ideological demands and renewal of the glory and dignity of this country in near future is fully expected.'
