Students gather infront of Egypt's interests section in Tehran
Tehran, Jan 30, IRNA – A number of Iranian students gathered in front of Egypt's Interest Section in Tehran on Saturday evening to support peoples' uprisings in Egypt, Tunisia, and other Arab countries.
The students, shouting slogans such as, 'Down with US, Down with Israel, Down with UK and down with Hosni Mubarak,' condemned Egyptian government's measures to confront protesters.
Spokesperson for Islamic World Students Movement Esmaeil Tahmouresi said in the gathering that the nature of protests in Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan and Yemen are the same as Iran's Islamic revolution.
He said, 'We call Iranian government to shut down Egypt's Interest Section here until an Islamic government takes power in Egypt.'
The protesters also set fire the picture of Hosni Mubarak.
