INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS KEEN ON AZERBAIJAN

Baku, 13 AUGUST,(AzerTAj)Chairman of the Milli Majlis standing commission on international relations and interparliamentary relations, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the PACE Samad Seyidov told AzerTAg that international organizations including the Council of Europe are keen on Azerbaijan.

World community keeps a close eye on Rapid development of Azerbaijan, its role in ensuring energy security in Europe, participation in the counterterrorism operations. COE has completely changed its position towards Azerbaijan. Now, Azerbaijan is cited as an example of development of democracy, freedom of speech, tolerance. They all have been implemented. Azerbaijan suffered Armenian aggression, and is now in the state of war. There are some problems. Council of Europe understands this. Steps are being taken to achieve soonest resolution of theconflict based on the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and international norms.

According to Seyidov, Azerbaijan has no problems concerning its CoE commitments.

PACE resolution once more confirmed territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and demandedunconditional withdrawal of Armenia`s armed forces.
