SPEAKER MEETS CHINESE AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the Great Khural (parliament) D.Demberel met Monday Mr. Yu Hongyao, the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Mongolia, in conjunction with completion of his mission.
Having thanked the Speaker for the audience, the ambassador has expressed a satisfaction with widening of the bilateral relations in all fields within his three-year diplomatic mission in Mongolia. Mr. Hongyao has mentioned that a delegation led by the leader of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress is to participate in a meeting of the Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF), and expressed a hope that the cooperation will get achievements not only in the parliamentary sphere, but also in all sectors. “Mutual high level visits are expected this year,” he added.
Mr. Hongyao has expressed a sincere gratitude to the Speaker and other officials for helping him during his office term, and wished to the bilateral collaboration in all spheres to deepen on a basis of the mutual efforts.
In response, Demberel has said Mr. Hongyao worked fruitfully and managed to elevate the relationship into a level of strategic partnership. D.Demberel has underlined that obstacles on a development of the relations are to be removed in a scope of the cooperation policy.
The Speaker has expressed a satisfaction with a willingness of China to send its parliamentary delegation to the APPF's meeting, and hoped the Mongolians will meet with it during the meeting. He has said he is full of confidence that Mr. Hongyao will pass to China's government a corrent understanding of Mongolia and will continue to work positively effecting upon the relations. Then he wished a success to the ambassador.
The ambassador thanked the Speaker and promised to continue contributing to strengthening of the bilateral cooperation.
