Iran's interim fm arrives in Ankara

Ankara, Jan 18, IRNA – Iran's interim Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi arrived in Ankara, Monday night, on an official visit to hold talks with Turkish officials.
Salehi, who is heading a top delegation, was received at Ankara Airport by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Bahman Hosseinpour.
Salehi met and conferred with Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmed Davood Uglu.
Davood Uglu was away in Lebanon along with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Teyyip Erdogan throughout Monday, but returned home to meet Salehi on Monday noght.
Salehi, whose visit comes on the verge of Iran–5+1 group meeting, is scheduled to visit his Turkish counterpart and the other top officials of the Republic of Turkey to discuss about further expansion of Tehran-Ankara relations and cooperation, as well as the upcoming meeting with the West in Istanbul and latest regional and international developments./end
