Iran President talks with Medvedev of Russia on phone
Tehran, Jan 18, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad welcomed on Monday boosting bilateral ties in all areas with Russia in a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev.
President Ahmadinejad said that Tehran and Moscow should always be friends and colleagues. He emphasized the need to expand bilateral ties in all domains.
Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, for his part said that Russia welcomes cooperation with Iran in energy, transportation and trade.
Both presidents pointed to great potentials the two countries enjoy to expand cooperation./end
