Iran-Uruguay study expansion of parliamentary co-op
Tehran, Jan 18, IRNA – Visiting Uruguay Parliament Speaker Ivonne Pasada conferred on Monday with her Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani on expansion of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.
At the meeting, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on broadening of mutual cooperation.
Based on the MoU the two sides are committed to hold regular parliamentary consultations on issues of mutual interests as well as international affairs.
Expansion of mutual cooperation would lead to broadening of friendship and mutual understanding between the two nations as well as expansion of economic, commercial, cultural and political cooperation, underlined the two speakers./end
