1st VP hails IRNA as mainstream media
Tehran, Jan 17, IRNA -- First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said that the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) is the mainstream media of Iran.
Addressing media managers and officials of IRNA, Rahimi said that “you are in charge of a difficult job and you have managed to do well in achieving your goal by adhering to faith and sincerity.”
Referring to the fact that the reporters work hard for preparing and reporting a news item, the official pointed out that the profession of journalism is valuable and a lot of effort is done by journalists.
Rahimi pointed out that the Zionist lobby controls the western media around the world.
“The enemies of Iran and Islam are even present inside the country. They pretend that they are believers of Islam, but in fact they are enemy of the government and the supreme jurisprudence,” he added.
Rahimi said that they are sponsored by the main enemies of Islam and they do not want any trace of Islam to remain./end
