Envoys of IAEA members in Natanz to visit uranium enrichment site

Tehran, Jan 17, IRNA -- Ambassadors to International Atomic Energy Agency of five countries representing 130 member states of IAEA arrived in Natanz, Isfahan province, on Sunday to visit the uranium enrichment site.

This is the second nuclear site after Arak heavy water plant they visited yesterday.

Iran's Permanent Representative to IAEA Ali-Asghar Soltanieh is accompanying them.

The Egyptian and Cuban ambassadors are representing the IAEA member states from the Non-Aligned Movement. The Egyptian envoy is also representing the Group 77 as the current president of the Group 77 developing nations.

In the meantime, the permanent representative of Oman to the IAEA is on a visit to Iranian nuclear sites. Oman is also the current president of the Arab League.

The Syrian ambassador to the IAEA, who is representing the Arab League at the IAEA, has also included in the delegation.

The representative of Venezuela at the IAEA is also accompanying the delegation as a “special guest”.

Nataz and Arak nuclear sites are two major nuclear facilities of Iran which are under heavy propaganda fuss of Western media.

The visit by the dignitaries to the nuclear sites of the Islamic Republic of Iran is taking place at a time when the western media are claiming that the Stuxnet computer worm has paralyzed the process of uranium enrichment in Natanz./end
