Iran hopes tranquility returns to Tunisia

Tehran, Jan 16, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesman expressed hope on Saturday that with fulfillment of people's demand, tranquility return to Tunisia.
According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Ramin Mihman-parast, answering a question concerning current developments in Tunisia, said that Iran is following events there and believes that Tunisia, as an important Islamic country, which is located in an important geographical position in the world, has entered into a sensitive phase of its political life.
He added that Iran, by supporting Tunisian Muslim nation demands, underlined necessity of fulfillment of their demands in an atmosphere far from violence.
Mihman-parast stressed that we hope by fulfillment of people's demands, tranquility returns to the country and problems can be settled peacefully through dialogue without foreign interference./end
