President: Future belongs to independent, freedom-loving nations

Tehran, Jan 16, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, by underlining that future belongs to independent and freedom-loving nations, said that Iran and Sudan can meet many of their needs together and that Iran stands with Sudanese government and nation to the end.
According to the report of Presidential Office website, President Ahmadinejad in a meeting with Sudanese Agriculture Minister and special envoy of Sudan president Abdel Haleem Esmaeil al-Mutaa'fi, by referring to the brotherly and expanding ties between the two countries, underlined increasing cooperation level in different fields between Iran and Sudan.
The president said that common and revolutionary stances of both countries in important regional and international issues is an appropriate opportunity for promotion of politico-economic and cultural cooperation.
He said that expansion of ties between Tehran and Khartoum in different sections would be beneficial for both nations.
The Sudanese minister, for his part, presented a report on expanding process of bilateral cooperation and underlined strengthening mutual and regional relations between the two countries.
Referring to Sudan capacities in the field of agriculture, the minister called for promotion of cooperation level in this field between the two countries./end
