KRASNOYARSK, January 15 (Itar-Tass) -- A football match was held in
Krasnoyarsk in memory of Moscow Spartak fan Yegor Sviridov.
Then a march and a rally with lit candles took place in the city.
The authorised event was held without incidents, the press service of
the regional police department told Itar-Tass on Saturday.
About 50 football fans gathered on Otdykh Island to honour the memory
of their Moscow fellow. At first they played football, and then marched in
a column from the football stadium to the Ivan Yarygin Palace of Sports,
where they lit candles and held a short meeting.
Organisers of the rally called on authorities to ensure an honest
investigation into the murder of the football fan.
28 year-old Yegor Sviridov was killed by North Caucasians in Moscow on
December 6, 2010. The murder aroused a great public outcry and mass
protests in several cities.

ST. PETERSBURG, January 15 (Itar-Tass) -- A rally against ethnic crime
that took place in St. Petersburg on Saturday and brought together about
two hundred people ended without incidents, a spokesman for the city
police department press service told Itar-Tass after the event.
By 14:00 Moscow time, about 200 people gathered near the metro station
Sportivnaya for the rally organised by the local branch of the Movement
Against Illegal Immigration. It was held on the commemorative 40th day
since the death of football club Spartak fan Yegor Sviridov, who was
killed by North Caucasians in Moscow on December 6.
The rally, which had been agreed upon by the city authorities, was
held without slogans and party symbols. Speakers demanded the authorities
punish the murderers of Sviridov and called for tougher fight against
ethnic crime. Among other demands, the protesters called for legalization
of purchasing and possessing short firearms (guns) by Russian citizens.
After the rally, at 15:00, the protesters proceeded to the Prince
Vladimir Cathedral, where a memorial service was held in memory of the
murdered fan.
.Baptisteries prepared in Moscow rivers, reservoirs by Epiphany.
MOSCOW, January 16 (Itar-Tass) -- About 70 baptisteries will be
prepared in 60 Moscow locations by January 19, Epiphany Holiday, the
capital's deputy mayor for social affairs Lyudmila Shvetsova said at a
holiday organisational meeting on Saturday.
According to Shvetsova, all the prefectures, departments, police and
the Emergencies Ministry's services are instructed to take all appropriate
measures to ensure safety on the water, order, sanitary-epidemiological
safety and comfort for Muscovites.
At all the open-air winter fonts in reservoirs and rivers there must
be comfortable descents into the water, modules to change clothes, on-duty
ambulances, police, rescue services, hot tea and coffee and lighting, she
said.
Shvetsova recalled that last year more than 330,000 Muscovites
participated in the Epiphany events in Moscow.
The meeting was attended by Archbishop Arseny of Istra, the vicar of
the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, heads of departments of the Moscow
government and officials of law enforcement services, the Emergencies
Ministry and administrative districts.
"Our goal is to help the Church and believers in the capital provide

Archbishop Arseny, in turn, expressed satisfaction that the city
authorities provide serious care and pay attention to creating all
