Mehmanparast advises restoration of security to Tunisia
Tehran, Jan 15, IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast here on Saturday advised various Tunisian groups and parties to help restore security to their country.
He made the remark while talking to reporters on the sidelines of the first expert meeting on “role of media in promoting interaction with Iranians living abroad” which started in Tehran this morning.
Referring to recent political developments in Tunisia, Mehmanparast stressed that Tehran is closely examining all developments in that country.
He expressed hope that security would be restored in Tunisia so that the Tunisian people live in peace and tranquility.
He also hoped that Tunisia would play an effective role in the World of Islam./end
