Majlis Presiding Board member: Talks with 5+1 last chance for West

Tehran, Jan 15, IRNA – A Parliament (Majlis) Presiding Board member said here Friday talks with 5+1 would be west's last chance as parliament may block path for more of such useless talks and endless western pretexts.
Mohsen Kouhcan added in an interview with IRNA Political Desk reporter, 'The 5+1 Countries must pay attention to the point that the Islamic Republic Majlis is closely monitoring these negotiations and if they will not yield to Iran's sound logic and the Iranian nation's absolute rights, there would be no sense in wasting time and setting new dates for any more of such useless talks.'
He added, 'In that case the people's representatives might pass ratification and block the path for the continuation of Iran's many years of nuclear negotiations with the irrational west.'
Lanjan Constituency MP at the Majlis said, 'Had there been the slightest bit of rationalism and honest on the others side, after this many years of honest talks on the part of Iran the west and particularly the United States would have been convinced and recognized Iran's rights.'
Kouhcan said, 'Tehran has proved its good will in many ways so far and it is now turn for the west to do so and to end this useless cycle.'
Member of the Parliament's Mines and Industries Commission went on to add, 'Basically, the parliament is opposed to such time killings and the representatives have reached consensus on the point that there is a need for putting an end to the ceaseless pretext seeking of them urgently.'
Referring to Iran's proposal for a visit of its nuclear sites by various countries, Kouhcan stressed, 'If a government in the world is really worried about the peaceful nuclear program of Iran it should accept this invitation, but when they do not welcome the proposal, the general opinion is that they are pre-determined to block the path of Iran's progress arrogantly.'
Referring to the move as a winning card, the Majlis Presiding Board member said, 'This invitation revealed their illogical will and this must be used properly during the Istanbul negotiations by the members of the Iranian team.'/end
