HYUNDAY MOTORS-MONGOLIA HOSTS OPEN WORKSHOP
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ An authorized distributor of Hyundai heavy duty trucks, bus, and commercial vehicles in Mongolia the Hyundai Motors Mongolia LLC hosted Wednesday an open workshop under the theme of “Capital city public transportation: Present Situation and Standardization” to introduce Hyundai Super Aerocity bus and CNG bus for the public transportation industry.
Among the guest speakers were Mr. B.Tsengel, a director of the Transportation Department, an implementing agency of the Government of Mongolia; and Mrs. P.Narantsetseg, Director of the Public Transportation Authority of Ulaanbaatar. Moreover, some 20 media representatives have covered the workshop, in which representatives from major banking partner institutions and chief officers of the public transportation operator companies have attended.
“Today's workshop, four-party talks: Supplier, Customers, Policy Makers and Banking Solution Providers, have discussed current challenges, and modernization of capital city's public bus fleet with more convenient and specifically built for Mongolia's condition, and with more attractive financial solutions,” has said T.Buyan-Undrakh, President and CEO of the Hyundai Motors Mongolia LLC.
Over the past years, Hyundai has been important partner of the Mongolian government especially in modernization of Ulaanbaatar's city buses. The capital city authority plans to renew the city buses as well as inter-city buses over the upcoming years.
The Hyundai Motors Mongolia LLC, founded in 2009, has signed distributorship agreement with Hyundai in October 2009. It has recently signed a deal with Hyundai Heavy Industries to represent its forklift trucks in Mongolian market.
