ABOUT PREMIER'S VISITS TO KUWAIT AND UAE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A press conference was called Thursday on the results of the Premier's official and the working visits Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates. The report has been given by O.Och, an advisor to the Premier on foreign policy; B.Batkhishig, a special official of the Department of Americas, Middle East and Africa of the Ministry o Foreign Affairs, and other.
Mentioning that the Premier's visits to these states of the Persian Gulf were successful, the officials have said the visits were the very first ones since the establishment of the diplomatic relations although many mutual high level visits had been paid to the countries. They have underlined these states have attached a special importance to the visits.
In frames of a bilateral meeting, Mongolia and Kuwait issued a joint statement on the collaboration in constructing roads and developing infrastructure, and agreed to export meat and livestock to Kuwait and to send a group of experts to Mongolia to explore a possibility of erecting a meat processing factory. The Kuwaiti side positively received a request of the Premier to construct a 150-bed pediatric hospital with a non-refundable aid of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED).
The sides also considered an issue of cooperating in oil sector. In a scope of it, Kuwaiti agreed to make a final decision in the nearest future on exporting one million ton of crude oil to Mongolia, and officially said Kuwait may export fuel to Mongolia. The biggest oil companies of Kuwait expressed their willingness to make investments to exploration and extraction works in Mongolia, they went on.
As for the relations between Mongolia and the UAE, the countries have been actively developing their ties. The 15th anniversary of the diplomatic relations will be marked in April this year.
The UAE is one of the countries who have very small population and rapidly developing economics. For this reason, the Mongolian Prime Minister wants to study developmental experiences of the UAE, they said.
In frames of the working visit to the UAE, the sides raised an issue of boosting a cooperation in the nuclear energy sector.
