D.SUKHBAATAR'S MONUMENT TO BE COMPLETED IN MARCH
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, G.Monkhbayar got familiarized with a process of constructing D.Sukhbaatar's monument on the Sukhbaatar square, the city's downtown.
In winter, when all consrtuction works stop usually, the monu,ent-related works are being run, says T.Gantomor, a government representative in charge of the construction. "We have created a warm closed space here, so the winter does not hinder in work," he said. A foundation will be completed by January 20, flower bed will be finished January 26, a small granitic foundation is to be ready January 30, stairs on February 2, by February 20 the bronze monument will be put on the foundation. "So March 1 we will run an opening ceremony," he added.
He added that a participation in this work is "a great honour."
