NUMBER OF LEARNERS INCREASES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ As of beginning of academic year 2010-2011, a number of students and pupils in all levels of educational institutions reached 850.5 thousand increasing 9.4 thousand or 1.1 per cent against the previous year.
In the 2009/2010 academic year, 139.5 thousand students and pupils graduated all levels of educational institutions, of which 90.2 thousand pupils graduated general education schools (53.5 thousand pupils 9th grade, 34.5 thousand pupils--11th grade), 15.1 thousand students--technical and vocational schools, 34.2 thousand students--universities, higher educational institutions and colleges.
