UNEMPLOYMENT RATE IN FIGURES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A number of unemployed who had registered at Labor and Welfare Service Divisions in aimags and in capital city and who were actively looking for job reached 38.3 thousand by the end of December, 2010, showing a increase of 173 persons or 0.5 per cent against the previous year.
Compared to 2010, the increase in registered unemployed was mainly due to the increase in Ulaanbaatar city (1,411 persons), Tov (609), Omnogobi (495), Zavkhan (426), Arkhangai (308), Dundgobi (294), Khovd (199) and Khentii aimags (142), respectively.
