Yemen suspends Oil and Minerals Minister
SANA'A, Jan 12 (Saba) - High orders were
given on Wednesday suspending Yemen's Minister for Oil and Minerals Amir Salim al
Aidrous
and Executive Director of the Yemen Petroleum Company Omer al Arhabi.
The suspension was triggered by the fuel crisis that resulted in traffic congestion
and large queues at filling stations.
The deputies of al Aidrous and al Arhabi were asked to act during the suspension.
