SANA'A, Jan 12 (Saba) - Prime
Minister Ali Mujawar received on Tuesday at the Presidency of the Council of
Ministers Turkish
President Abdullah Gul.
They discussed the bilateral relationship and available opportunities to promote
the bilateral trade and the inflow of investments.
The meeting stressed the importance of establishing practical mechanisms for
implementing agreements signed by Yemen and Turkey, the previous ones and those
signed during
this week's visit of Turkish President Abdullah Gul to Sana'a.
Mujawar highlighted the remarkable progress in the bilateral relations in recent
years, saying the two countries should further push cooperation links in the best
interest
of the people.
President Gul also praised the advanced level of Yemen-Turkey ties, voicing
keenness to translate what has been agreed to during his visit into concrete
actions, including
encouraging Turkish investments to launch ventures in Yemen.
The coming period will see Turkish investment delegations arriving in Yemen as
Turkey is very interested in promoting its economic cooperation with Yemen, he
said.
Gul left Yemen on Tuesday night after a historic visit to Yemen, by the first ever

During the two-day visit, the two countries signed many agreements including one
removing visa requirements for the people in both countries and a protocol for a
