Iran oil minister in Baku for official visit
Baku, Jan 12, IRNA – Iran's Oil Minister, Massoud Mir-Kazemi, arrived here on Wednesday on an official visit to meet with top Azeri officials.
Mir-Kazemi aims at negotiating for a long-term agreement on gas exports.
Mir-Kazemi is also due to confer with Azeri President Ilham Aliyev and energy minister of that country as well as head of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).
Last year, Iran and Azerbaijan inked and implemented a short-term agreement on gas exports according to which one million cubic meters of gas were transferred between both countries./end
