Ali-Mohammadi's wife calls for trial of terrorist agents

Tehran, Jan 12, IRNA – Wife of an assassinated Iranian scientist here on Tuesday called for trial of agents behind assassination of Iranian scientists by international courts.
Ms Karami, wife of Masoud Ali-Mohammadi, told IRNA that the culprits behind the criminal acts against the Iranian scientists are currently living abroad.
A remote-controlled bomb killed the university scientist Ali-Mohammadi outside his home in Tehran on January 12 last year.
By carrying out such terrorist operations, the enemy is trying to prevent the Islamic Republic from reaching the climax of science and development, she reiterated.
Since the enemies are well aware of the capabilities of Iranian scientists and researchers, they try to kill them in order to deprive the country of such committed and hard-working figures, she added.
Although many Iranian scholars and scientists are working for western scientific organizations in different parts of the globe, martyr Ali-Mohammadi and several of his colleagues remained inside the country to serve and teach the youth and students, Ms Karami said.
She added that the US and the Tel Aviv regime are the main agents behind such terrorist acts, she said, adding that they train the deceived domestic elements in order to carry out their evil plots.
She repeated her request for arrest and punishment of the agents behind the terrorist operations by international tribunals.
The enemies should know that by such terrorist acts against the Iranian scientists they cannot damage the process of progress and development in the country, martyr Ali-Mohammadi’s wife said./end
