Syria's Assad condoles Iran on plane crash
Damascus, Jan 11, IRNA – Syrian President Bashar al-Assad expressed condolences to his counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the plane crash in which dozens of Iranians were killed.
In his message, President Assad expressed sympathy with the Iranian nation and government and families of the victims.
The Iran Air Boeing 727 crashed in bad weather conditions on Sunday with more than 100 passengers on board. The plane crash killed 77 passengers and left at least 27 injured./end
