Man sexually assaulted in Melbourne park

Police have launched a public appeal to find four men who allegedly sexually
assaulted and bashed a man in a Melbourne park.
Police say the men, believed to be Indian, set upon the 47-year-old man as he walked
through Tormore Reserve in Boronia in Melbourne's southeast about 2am (AEDT) on
Boxing Day.
The man was then both sexually and physically assaulted by the men "perceived as
being of Indian sub-continental appearance", police said on Monday.
Details of the incident had not been revealed until Monday for "operational"
reasons, a police spokeswoman said.
