FIRST OLYMPIAD FOR CAD/CAM CONCLUDED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The first state Olympiad for the Computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacture (CAD/CAM) was concluded January 9. Held under auspices of Mongolia's President, the action has run in three categories--university, engineering-technical experts and team work.
A student of the School for Industrial Technology and Design of Mongolia's University of Science and Technology (MUST) B.Nyambayar has become the first in the university contest category followed by Ts.Ariunbold, student from the MUST's School for Industrial Technology and Design, and B.Erdenebayar, the Technical University of Bratsk city, Russia. The winner has received gold medal, diploma and one million togrog in cash.
Among engineering and technical experts, an engineer from the “Erdenet” Mining Corporation B.Danaajav has become the leader followed by his counterparts G.Jasrai, engineer of the City's Institute of Design, and Ts.Chinzorig, engineer of the Ulaanbaatar Railways.
A challenge Cup named after the President, which accompanies the gold medals, and a cash prize of MNT ten million has gone to G.Jasrai, an engineer of the City's Institute of Design; to B.Batbolor, student of the MUST's School for Food Engineering and Biotechnology; D.Dalaitseren, student of the Technological School of the MUST in Darkhan-Uul aimag; and to G.Bat-Ireedui, engineer of the “Eenergy Resource” LLC, in the team work category.
The prizes and medals have been haded by D.Battulga, a head of the Presidential Office, B.Damdinsuren, rector of the MUST, S.Tomor-Ochir, rector of the MSU, and by D.Jargalsaikhan, vice president of the National Association of Metallurgy and Machine Industry and director of Mongolia's Electric Transport Company.
