Thai Narathiwat province declares all districts flood-stricken zones
BANGKOK, Jan 10 (TNA) - Thailand’s Narathiwat Province has declared all its 13 districts flood-stricken areas, as heavy downpours have continued to submerge the southern Thai border province.
Narathiwat Governor Thanon Wetchakornkanont said on Monday (Jan 10) that the declaration of the 13 flood-hit areas as disaster zones followed spreading inundations, having affected more than 36,000 local people in 284 villages with several local farmlands and communication routes submerged. (TNA)
