Missing kayaker found in Qld floodwaters

A kayaker missing in floodwaters at Woodford, north of Brisbane, has been found safe
and well, police say.
However, the 60-year-old from the Brisbane suburb of Mitchelton is stranded on the
opposite side of Stoney Creek from rescuers and will have to wait for rescue.
He is one of four men who went kayaking and he became separated from his companions,
who raised the alarm just after 2pm (AEST).
Police, Queensland Fire and Rescue Service personnel and a swift water rescue crew
were involved in the search for the man.
Police have repeatedly warned people to stay out of flood waters covering much of
the state.
