Relations with Russia remain priority of India`s foreign policy
NEW DELHI, January 7 (Itar-Tass) -- The relations with Russia remain
the priority of India's foreign policy, Indian Foreign Minister
Somanahalli Mallaiah Krishna told reporters on Friday.
Russia and India established friendly relations. Russia is India's
reliable partner, the relations with which stood the test of time, the
Indian foreign minister said. He noted that Russian-Indian current
cooperation has the status of special privileged partnership.
Krishna noted that Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will visit
Russia in the second half of 2011 to participate in a Russian-Indian
traditional annual summit. These summits contribute to building up and
developing Russian-Indian cooperation in many vital spheres, the Indian
foreign minister underlined.
