FOREIGN MINISTER MEETS K.GENBA
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Foreign Minister G.Zandanshatar received Wednesday Koichiro Genba, Japan's Minister of State for National Policy and Minister of State for the New Public Commons. They have shared views on the Mongolia-Japan relations and cooperation, and on international issues.
The Foreign Minister has mentioned that the visit of the Japanese minister has a great importance in realizing a joint statement on development of Mongolia-Japan strategic partnership relations. He has noted it is possible for the two countries to widen the strategic cooperation not only in mineral sector, but also in energy, infrastructure and agricultural spheres.
In turn, Mr. Genba has said Japan has been maitaning a policy to contribute to intensifying the development of Mongolia, and intends to boost package cooperation in the techniques and technologies, preparing trained staffers, investments.
The sides have underlined an important role of an economic partnership agreement in expanding the cooperation in trade, economics and investments.
