145 kg of drugs seized with dozens of dealers, addicts in December

(Saba) - Yemen police seized 145 kilograms of drugs during the last month with 55
people
including 5 Arab citizens and 4 women, the Interior Ministry has reported.
The seizures took place in 8 governorates, with the Secretariat Capital accounting
for the largest amount of drug quantities of 75 kg and the largest number of
dealers
and addicts of 17.
Hodeida came second with 30 kg of drugs and 10 suspects seized in it, Hajjah was in
third accounting for 24 kg of drugs and two suspects, and then Hadramout where
police
found 15 kg of drugs with 12 dealers.
The 55 arrested included 22 drug dealers, 15 possessors and 18 addicts.
Other provinces saw arrests in connection with addiction.
