FREESING WEATHER MAY COME, COMMISSION SAYS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ For the time being, over 60 percent of Mongolia's countryside has been covered by snow, the provinces of Bayan-Ulgii, Khovd, Uvs, Zavkhan, khovsgol, Uvurkhangai, Orkhon, Darkhan-Uul, Selenge, Tuv, Khentii, Dornod and Sukhbaatar especially. As expected, the situation may get worse in 86 soums of 15 aimags. A hundred heads of livestock have perished so far. Hay and forage have been delivered to the most suffering places.
A Deputy Premier, head of State emergency commission M.Enkhbold obliged the organizations involved to promptly spread weather forecast, constanly receive from regions information about natural calamities, have the emergency organization and its branches put on full alert, continue giving warning news and so on.
Apart of this, heads of aimags and Ministries are told to control over electricity stations' function and not to cut off hot and cold water in apartments and offices.
