Henin beats Molik in Perth

Former world No.1 Justine Henin ensured Belgium's Hopman Cup campaign got off to a
perfect start with a straight sets win over Australia's Alicia Molik in Perth on
Saturday.
Henin defeated Molik 6-4 6-4 in 84 minutes to give Belgium a 1-0 lead in the tie
ahead of Lleyton Hewitt's clash with Ruben Bemelmans.
Although Henin looked rusty at times, the world No.12 would have been pleased with
her first hit-out in almost six months after recovering from a career-threatening
elbow injury.
Molik showed good fight in the second set, unleashing some powerful winners to claw
her way back to 3-3 after earlier trailing 3-0.
But the winners suddenly dried up for Molik when it mattered most as Henin snared
the crucial break in the seventh game to set up the victory.
