NEXT YEAR AND SUPPORT TO EMPLOYMENT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister S.Batbold will chair a national committee which is obliged to conduct and organize the works to be done in frames of the year of supporting employment. The national committee comprises some Ministers, Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city, governors of aimags, heads of departments of vocational training and social welfare, the Union of Employers and leaders of Trade Unions.
The cabinet has decided to allot MNT 70 million from the reserved fund of the government for implementing plans of the year. Some Ministers have been ordered to study and tackle matters on amending related law in order to give tax and credit discounts, support by investment policy, reduce tax and financial pressures on small- and middle-sized production, and to refine upon the registration system of enterprisers. In addition, decisions have been made to prepare national labor force to work in the biggest projects, programs and tenders to be realized in the mining, mineral resources, energy, road, construction and urban development sectors.
In frames of the “Mongolian livestock”, “Support for intensified animal husbandry” programs and international programs and projects, herders will be supported so as to improve their skills of preventing risks. Programs and projects on rehabilitating environment and creating eco-job places will involve the unemployed and low-income people.
The Ministers, the city's Mayor and the governors of aimags have been tasked with making reports on the works to the national committee every quarter.
