China to build cement works in Amur Region

KHABAROVSK, December 31 (Itar-Tass) -- The major company China Triumph International (CTIE) will build a cement works in the Amur Region.
The construction of the enterprise on the basis of the Chagoyansk deposit of limestone is to begin in April 2011 and to be finished in the first quarter of 2013.
A corresponding agreement was reached at talks between governor Oleg
Kozhemyaka and general director of the CTIE Beijing branch Ma Mingliang,
ITAR-TASS learnt at the press service of the government of the Amur
Region. The company is ready to attract Chinese investments to implement
the project.
According to Chinese specialists, 3-4 production lines are to be
built. Each of the lines will produce 5,000 tonnes of cement a day. "Such a capacity corresponds to world standards of efficient production," Ma Mingliang stressed.
CTIE is one of the biggest corporations in China. It is engaged in
building works for production of cement, glass, light building materials
and glass fibre. Its volume of production is 12 billion dollars.
