Iran's general consul confers with Fujairah crown prince

Dubai, Dec 29, IRNA – Iranian General Consul in Dubai Ali Asghar Shafiee conferred with Fujairah Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed al-Sharqi on Tuesday.

In the meeting, Shafiee, by referring to Iran's abilities and capacities in all sectors, expressed Tehran's readiness for strengthening trade and economic cooperation with the emirate.

He also underlined necessity of expansion of bilateral investment in order to consolidate economic relations and development in trade.

Referring to the successful experiences of private sectors in both countries, the general consul declared Iran's support for joint investments.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad also called historical and cultural commonalities as ground for ties between the two nations of Iran and Emirates and said that it is an element for expansion of bilateral cooperation.

The Crown Prince of Fujairah Emirate welcomed Iran's general consul proposal and called for expansion of bilateral trade, economic and industrial cooperation and underlined using Iran's capacities in these fields to develop Fujairah Emirate./end
