Foreign Ministry expresses concern over fate of Alireza Asgari

Tehran, Dec 29, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister in the Middle East and Commonwealth Affairs expressed concern over news about martyrdom of former Deputy Defense Minister Alireza Asgari in the Zionist prison.

According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department, Mohammad Raouf Sheybani said on Tuesday that the Zionist regime action with collaboration of the US in kidnapping Asgari and the latest claim of the Zionist regime propaganda system are a clear sign of state terrorism amd will make their responsibility for his health heavier.

Sheybani described such acts as an indicator of criminal and inhuman nature of the Zionist regime and called for prompt reaction of international organizations to make Asgari situation clear.

He stressed that such behavior had already been repeated when the Zionists kidnapped four Iranian diplomats in Lebanon and transferred them to prisons inside the occupied territories.

Sheybani continued that by passing almost three decades of such a terrorist action, the Zionist regime is not ready to response and accept responsibility to clarify fate of the four kidnapped Iranian diplomats.

The deputy foreign minister underlined the Zionist regime's responsibility for protecting health of four Iranian diplomats and said that it is necessary that prompt action be taken by the world freedom lovers in this concern./end
