Saudi mission to Olympic Games in Beijing holds ceremony

Beijing, August 11, SPA--Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin
Abdulaziz, Vice President General of Youth Welfare, Vice President of
Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, Head of Kingdom's Mission to Beijing
Olympics 2008 held here this evening an official ceremony of the
Saudi mission participating in the Olympics.

The ceremony was attended by Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister, U.S.
Olympic Committee Chairman, Executive Chairman of Organization of
Sport And Peace, members of International Olympic Committee, deans
of universities in Beijing, heads of missions of Arab and Islamic
states to the Olympics and a number of ambassadors of Islamic and
friendly countries.

The ceremony included shows of Saudi folklore representing the
Kingdom's regions.
In a statement, Prince Nawaf said the distinguished audience points
to the international status of Saudi Arabia whose foundations were
laid by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz
and Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Sultan bin
Abdulaziz.
