A-330 with 294 passengers was to take off at 2.35 p.m. Moscow time on
Sunday, but according to the latest reports, the flight is scheduled for
5.30 a.m. Moscow time on Monday.
People had to stay at the airport all this time, a passenger told
Itar-Tass. "The Aeroflot Airlines gave all the aid to the passengers," he
said. They were offered cheques for each meal of 490 roubles per person
and free cool and warm-up beverages several times.
The flight is delayed due to a slippery runway and an ice-laden
airliner body. The bad visibility and extremely foil weather conditions
also the departure complicate at the JFK International Airport in New York.
