Afghan VP seen off by Rahimi
Tehran, Dec 27, IRNA – Visiting Afghan Vice-President Mohammad Qasim Fahim was officially seen off Sunday by his Iranian counterpart Mohammad-Reza Rahimi.
During the ceremony, the national anthems of both countries were played and then the two VPs reviewed the guard of honor.
During his three-day stay in Iran, Qasim Fahim held separate meetings with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani and Rahimi.
Fahim, heading a high-ranking delegation, arrived in Tehran Friday afternoon./end
