Iran President advisor urges Pakistan to uproot terrorist activities

Islamabad, Dec 26, IRNA – President Ahmadinejad's advisor in Press Affairs, referring to activities of Jundullah terrorist grouplet in border areas between Iran and Pakistan, said that Islamabad government should uproot activities of the grouplet.
Ali Akbar Javanfekr made the remarks in a meeting with Punjab Province Chief Minister Shahbaz Sheriff on Saturday afternoon.
Referring to the terrorist incident in southeastern city of Chahbahar, which caused 39 dead, Javanfekr said that Iran is a victim of terrorism and cooperation between all countries of the region is necessary to fight and uproot the gruesome phenomenom.
Javanfekr, who is also the Managing Director of Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), underlined that growth of extremism in the region caused expansion of insecurity sense which is not beneficial for any nation or government in the region.
He added that Iran has good experiences in fight against terrorism and is ready to share its experiences in this concern with Pakistan.
Javanfekr continued that Pakistan should use necessary actions to fight terrorism in border areas with Iran./end
