Iran's 1st VP welcomes Afghan counterpart
Tehran, Dec 25, IRNA – Iran's 1st Vice-President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi officially welcomed his Afghan counterpart Mohammad Qasim Fahim at the Presidential Premises here on Saturday.
During the welcoming ceremony, both the vice-presidents reviewed the guard of honor after the national anthems of both countries were played.
During his two-day stay in the country, Qasim Fahim will hold separate meetings with Rahimi and other top officials including President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The Afghan first vice-president heading a high-ranking delegation arrived in the capital city of Tehran on Friday afternoon./end
