SOCIOLOGY SCHOOL OFFICIALS VISIT JAPAN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A delegation of Mongolia's State University (MSU)--Dr. G.Erdenebayar, rector of the School of Sociology, and his deputy Dr. S.Monkhbat and others--have visited Japan at invitation of the Kokushikan University.
The delegation has been received by Masaki Asakura (Ph.D), a director of Kokushikan University; Toshi Shimizu (Ph.D), deputy director; Sogo Ikeda (Ph.D), director of the after graduate school, and Yuki Matsumoto, chairman of the Foreign Department of the university. The sides have shared views and then reached agreements on training Mongolian students in this university, on supporting career of teachers and on co-implementing joint research projects.
The guests have met officials of the Aoyama Gakuin University to discuss how to strengthen the collaboration. The sides have agreed to determine further directions of the collaboration and to realize joint projects and programs, to have the Research Center of Contemporary Politics at the School of Sociology and the Aoyama Gakuin University cooperate.
Dr. S.Monkhbat has given a lecture themed "Northeast Asia and Foreign Policy of Mongolia" to the Kokushikan University's students and teachers.
