"GOO MARAL-2010" FESTIVAL RUNS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The "Goo Maral-2010" festival of granting the supreme prize to top artistic works took place Wednesday in the "Black Box" theatre at “Boroldoi” studio. This year's ceremony has been co-organized by Mongolia's National Public Radio and Television, the “Boroldoi” and the “G Entertainment” studio.
The festival has selected the bests 15 of arts in all genres from some 200 creations.
A documentary named “Desire and greed” by S.Byamba has been selected as the best work in film art; serial films named “Platoon” and “Complicated class”--as the best TV creation; a drama “Notre Dame de Paris”-the best musical drama; the Complex for Chingis Khaan--as the best construction; and pop singer T.Ariunaa's concert “Wonderful evening”--as the best concert. The “Borte” group has been named as the top group that created new genre in folklore art. The “Morin khuur” ensemble has become the best one for propagandizing Mongolian arts around the world.
The “Goo maral” prize has been received by creator of the best in literature, radio, drama, circus, music, dance, fine arts, and classic art as well.
